United Kingdom

The population pyramid graph of UK shows the shape of a clustered graph, this is mainly because UK is a well develop country on today. A population pyramid illustrates the age and sex structure of a country's population and may provide insights about political and social stability, as well as economic development. The population is distributed along the horizontal axis, with males shown on the left and females on the right.

The United Kingdom's 2018 population is 66.57 million according to the most recent UN estimates. Each year in June, the Office for National Statistics releases an updated estimate based on migration and fertility statistics. UK has the highest age group of 50-54 and the lowest at the age 100 plus. This is due to it has less people in the pre- reproductive age group than the reproductive one. The population will grow more slowly as the number of people reaching the reproductive year is decreasing as time passes.
